Jones' possession was entirely legal. It is legal to have your weapon in site within your vehicle in LA. Cam had no reason to believe his weapon was stolen and therefor had no reason to attempt to register it within LA. Both were above the legal age to own a weapon. Car was searched (illegally) when the cop saw a gun, which Jones made sure to point out as cop approached him. The only thing illegal in the vehicle is a half a gram of weed, which weighs about 1/5 of a penny. Also, that half a gram can't be introduced in court since it was discovered via illegal search. Further, there is no way to prove who the weed belonged to since the cop let go of the other two individuals in the vehicle with cam and jones. So basically you have two people in possession of legal arms and a half gram of pot that can't be tagged to either since the cop let the other two guys run. Where is your court case? Fishy at all that the west Monroe LA cop only took in the two Alabama football players that turned down LSU? There's no case, there's no argument. Suspend the kids for being in a park after it closed.

Clearly the only plausible way to ever punish anyone ever is to suspend them from a football game. There is literally no other way anyone will learn from a mistake or grow in any way as a person unless they miss out on playing time. Someone needs to tell Nick Saban this. He has clearly stated above that he has absolutely no intention of further punishment and has stated multiple times to the media that he is not going to suspend them from any games. Knowing Nick to be such a soft disciplinarian, I can't say I'm surprised by his lack of action. Now, should we punish the players the same way Cam was punished? Or maybe the same way Freeze brought the hammer on Tunsil and Nkemdiche. Wow, another swing and miss by "Coach" Saban.

yep.. whole thing was ridiculous. Don't care if it was a vol or a barner or whoever else there, I don't want to see two guys lose out over something like this.
