You are perhaps the dumbest, most insecure douche I have seen write on this site. More than 90% of your comments are negatives about Miss. State so your obsession is beyond ridiculous. For someone that "hates" the state of Mississippi and MSU so much you sure have a funny way of constantly portraying your infatuation to the world. I totally agree! You know its funny that all these writers that lambasted Tebow for playing baseball, like John Crist, never seem to retract their comments now that Tebow is doing so well. Its easy to pick on someone through the media when you have very little to lose.

Wow John no one is saying the rest of the article is crap or that it doesn't have meaning to it. You just found another way to be insulted by someone's comment and completely ignore every other word that person writes. We're not saying the entire article is being ignored but you have to realize that you found a way to insult readers if more than one person said something about it. Its like saying to a buddy, you're wife's ugly, but she's really nice and dresses well. Sure, the back half of my comment is glowing and highly appreciative but what do you think my buddy will think about how I started it? Do you think he's going to be able to see that I truly commented his wife well after I insulted the both of them to start with? And no, John, I'm not angry on the internet but I just assumed you could have a rational dialog amongst many irrational posters. Shame on me for thinking otherwise.

Yes John that's insulting. What you fail to realize is that when people criticize your work and you vehemently defend your writing, because it is a part of you, it is along the same lines as how people feel about their universities...they are a part of us because they are meaningful to us. It doesn't surprise me that this is the first thing people comment on either. People will decide to read an article based on the title and the first couple of paragraphs as well as pick up on the overall tone of the piece. You write many passionate articles and some are written better than others, but there is an overall theme to many pieces you write and that is condemnation or finding a way to add some low-level insult to the school or person you are writing about. There are times you produce articles just about the nature of the story without a harsh tone to them but the tone more than likely why most people get pissed about your writing at times. And for the record, most State fans don't affectionately call Starkville a cow college nor do they regularly attempt to tear down their pride for their school.
