They also beat two of the worst teams on the last play of the game. They would then have 4 losses and unranked.
Well I do not think it is a distraction. Kiffin may just want more pay, more civilized living conditions, and less abuse.
Kiffin is probably tired of abuse at Alabama where Saban is known for running off assistants. If he cannot get a head coaching gig then he would most likely go to LSU where he would be the highest paid coordinator, be able to run the offense without interference, and also continue his "rehabilitation" for a future head coaching job.
I do not agree with any of these reasons although I wish Harvey Updike would move out of Louisiana. The vast majority of LSU and Alabama fans have tremendous respect for each other and look forward to the game every year. This year I feel LSU will hold on for the close win now that the defense is not playing "third and Chavis" any more.
Even if MSU falls out of the rankings LSU will still have beaten 2 ranked teams. Alabama and UF.
I don't actually hate Alabama but I will be happy when the Tide goes down this Saturday. The shock of the home crowd will be priceless.
Ictually both field goals were missed; both the practice one and the real one that counted. If LSU had had its tune up game with McNeese State the week prior I do not think it would have been close at the end. "If" is a tough word.
Actually he was on the ground in the end zone when a Florida player fell on him. I blame the refs for not controlling the game better. Players on both sides could have been injured.
At FSU they call that hitting through the whistle and as I recall UF had some issues with than. Apparently not when they are doing it.
You are obviously still living in 2011 to bring up the clothesline incident. As far as Ryan Perrilloux and his bad decisions, including being out after curfew and present at a bar fight, he was dismissed from the team after the 2007 season. At least Miles takes care of the problem players before they become toxic.
Did you have your third grade child read this to you? The article did not say this. Actually with Alabama's recruiting standings they should win the NC every year.
Thanks for the insight on our coach who has more character and personality in his thumb than Saban has in his whole frame. Now go set yourself on fire.
I see LF7's carries dropping as Brandon Harris improves and the passing game opens up. LSU will always be a run heavy team with Miles but passing will become more critical as November approaches and LSU plays the most difficult part of their SEC schedule.
Brandon Harris is improving every week with the passing game. True our receivers have had problems holding to the ball even when it is thrown well. The answer to this is reps. I see a significant improvement in our passing game going forward.
Sounds like a setup to me. I hope he plays Saturday and let the chips fall where they may after that.
