Dan's wife has made her hatred of Florida public. If momma ain't happy, nobody will be happy. When they passed on Dan, that bridge was burnt. He is already coaching in the SEC and has the #1 team in the nation right now. Why would he leave his own legacy to coach Florida. They were not anything for 90 years, then were something for 20, I look for a repeat of the first. Remember Miami, Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, USC, etc? Those were all elite programs that have drastically declined.

Do not like the secondary logo. Could maybe stand it if they left the G in the middle and used the traditional bulldog head on each 25 yard line. Not a fan at all of the concept above.

What you fail to see is wherever Steve goes his fans act just like him, a jackass. Florida fans are the same. The only place I did not see this happen was when he went to the NFL. My team made him coach and I didn't watch them for 5 years. I can't support an individual like that, I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire in front of me. Anyone who chooses to exploit people isn't a good person, plain and simple. The problem here is there have been other incidents of people doing the same, receiving money, and there has not been more than an one game suspension. Julio Jones and Mark Ingram both got one game. I'm not even going to include Johnny for a half game. My personal opinion is the SEC, NCAA, schools, coaches, etc all get billions from these kids and should not own their ability to make money by their name. The school, NCAA, SEC, etc does not own that individuals name. There was also an injunction put in place by a judge on this issue and the NCAA is not even supposed to be in forcing this while the injunction is in place. This is bigger than anyone realizes and if it is not handled rapidly, it could spell the end of the NCAA as we know it. I say that because if not done along the same lines as other player they will find themselves in civil court and end up losing, this case is too easy.
