Has anybody heard what Duke Williams is doing? I know the kid made mistakes (quite a few), but man it would be a shame to see that talent wasted.
Sorry MizzouSean. I wasn't overly concerned with my grammar when posting on the toilet. I'll be sure to proofread after I wipe from now on, so I won't offend you. Again, I apologize. (See what I did there I apologized twice in the same post)
Don't give him praise! If he doesn't get any attention he plays well. If he gets attention he's terrible. With this hypothesis I'm going to say he's terrible regardless of what he does hoping that it'll lead him to actually do well.
To say they're in a ditch is kind of a bold thing to say. Last year the defense was terrible and that was supposed to be trending upward, but Muschamp bolted because of a big ego (my personal opinion). This year AU was plagued by quite a few injuries as well as having the second coming of Cam not pan out at all. You have to give him another year regardless of the bowl game tomorrow. See if he can actually be a head coach and rally the troops. If he can't, then there are definitely going to be coaches available after next season as well.
I hide my Sharpie's any time I'm in Athens. Their players keep instinctively signing my stuff!
He changed it back a long time ago. Jeeze read TMZ.
Bamatime. It's because he's only been watching UK games. That's why the SEC looks so bad to him.
I'm honestly curious if there could ever be a way in which there could be a 'people's choice' entry. This would probably have to be done in an expanded bracket. If there was an 8 team bracket then we could have the Power 5 Champs and 2 at large established by the committee. Afterward, a few days could be set for a public online vote with the field of bubble teams and that vote would establish the 8th team. I know this would be a nightmare for bowl selection, but something could be figured out logistically. I'm sure it would never happen, but it would be nice for a sport with so much fan involvement to allow the fans to have a say in the playoff.
Seriously? This better be the homecoming game. Step it up Jacobs.
Hey bud the editors note at the top even said all their sources including the NCAA website stated the same error. I wouldn't necessarily call that a 'hunch' or 'rumor'.
jameyturner I really hope you're not saying you were alive for all of Alabama's. You'd be 89 years old! If that's true I'm extremely proud of you for being so up to date on technology and being able to use message boards.
The whole luck thing is getting really old to be honest.
He did his actions after he left UF moron.
^ I would go into describing the ignorance of this statement, but I don't have the time.
As the great Hannah Montana once said in her song "Nobody's Perfect", "Everybody makes mistakes...everybody has those days....everybody knows what, what I'm talkin' bout...everybody gets that way. Nobody's perfect!"
I think the sad thing is that Jimbo didn't do anything about it. This is of course assuming his eyes were on what was going on. However, I do know that either one of my HS or college coaches would've yanked me out on the ensuing play. Not necessarily for it being a foul or not, but for it being unsportsmanlike. That's pretty ridiculous.
I know this is completely different, but what about Josh McDaniels? He's an excellent offensive coach with ties to the NFL. I know they're saying he may be getting another shot in the NFL soon, but Florida is a great job as well.
What's "Awbun" supposed to mean? And I wouldn't speak so soon. AU hasn't played UGA or Bama yet.
I don't see them firing Ellis. You have to remember this. Everything he has been working with is from past recruiting classes. He has only been at AU 2 years (not 3 He came in with Gus) and this is the first year he's gotten any players that were recruited for his scheme. I hope they don't fire him. His scheme should play out fine, but AU just has to get a little stronger in the secondary.
They should have a rule that your team must be above .500 to speak on a message board.
I'm trying to understand what you're actually trying to say here? I mean to be honest it seems like someone has a bit of hater running through them. Let's really think about this. After the first half, AU played much better football. Cutting an 18 point deficit with the momentum against them to a one score, and eventually a 3 point game. That's a very tough task especially against an offense that does have the potency that aTm does. Furthermore, I hear everybody saying luck this luck that. Luck isn't anything more than a normal football play that just happens at a certain time. A turnover is just a turnover until it happens with :02 left on the clock, and then it becomes luck. I mean people seriously need to get their heads our of their rear ends with this nonsense. Just because the play happens at a certain time in the game doesn't mean it's luck.
How's a wrong call "running out of luck"? I'd call it poor officiating.
I really see you as the guy in his group of friends that everyone hates but doesn't know it.
^^I didn't see Alabama in the Nat'l Championship game.
Ok I am an Auburn fan, but I've always thought that was the dumbest rule. I mean what does the number on the jersey have to do with the play of the game anyway? And can people please get over the whole home cooking thing. It happens in every sport at every level occasionally.
I'd have to agree. This isn't the Oregon of old. Honestly the only offensive player I can name off the top of my head is Mariota. I don't even know their starting RBs name anymore.
Poorly officiated game all around. Even if I wasn't an AU fan I wouldn't of called that as OPI. But it is what it is. Can't win a game with that many turnovers plain and simple.
