Agree on that last point. A field goal attempt with 4th and 3 at the 35ish? LaCamera couldn't even kick it that far. A TD on that drive would have won the game.
Sumlin also lost the Ole Miss game by being too conservative.
You nailed it. The program is better than the coach. We have cornered the SEC market in Texas, and the Texas market in the SEC.
Program > coach
Hubenak > Knight. The coach got that one wrong, too.
What was Sumlin doing at the end of the first half? Ole Miss was forced to punt with 1:20 and 2 time outs left, and Sumlin says, "Nah. We're good."
