Mizou could have quite a few on this list if actors score points. Brad Pitt and Jon Hamm are probably the biggest current names from Mizzou, along with Chris Cooper. Go back a bit further and you have Tom Berenger (Jake Taylor and Sgt. Barnes were great characters) and George C. Scott (Patton!).
How can you write an article about ticket availability and leave out the biggest ticket resale site in the country (Stubhub)? It's almost like this was a paid advertisement from Razor Gator and Ticket City.
Everyone seems to forget that Mizzou was without its two best players most of the Indiana game. Markus Golden missed the whole game and Shane Ray was knocked out early. That left Mizzou with two freshmen at DE in their third career game. They still should've beaten Indiana. It's just a big fact that gets overlooked. People see Mizzou's dominant D-line and ask "How did this team lose to Indiana?"
Twice in the past seven years ('07 & '13), Mizzou has been tied or leading in the second half of a conference title game where a win would have put them in the BCS Championship Game. They've been close twice, so it's a realistic goal.
Pinkel at No. 11 is laughable. He's the 4th-winningest active coach in college football and Mizzou has won 10 games or more in four of the past seven seasons. I can see grading him down a few spots for not ever winning a conference title (I don't count the MAC), but there's no way 10 coaches in the SEC are better than him.
Mizzou hasn't worn that helmet in three years. I know we're still the new guys on the block, but it shouldn't be that hard to find a current helmet to use in your articles.
Blaine Gabbert was a 5-star guy on every list when he signed at Mizzou. His NFL career hasn't been great, but he was a 1st-round pick.
