I've been listening to comments on football for over 30 years and know that the commentators may "embrace the description" but I am sure that there is NOT ONE footballer (or any other black athlete) calling each other frisbee catching dogs... "Many people" is relative, especially when most commentators have been white males, who historically have issues with black masculinity as it relates to their own inadequacies. Your ear (eyes) may hear (see) it the same way as I do. It's all good. It was not a complaint - it was an observation and comment. I believe, that's why this section exists.

Frisbee catching DOGS?! This is a disgusting description. I’m sure you have a better vocabulary and can come up with a better way to describe these young men. Does Football Writers Association of America have a list of disgusting, demeaning descriptive words?
