I think you're referring to UGA vs Bama last year. A team that doesn't show up in Baton Rouge, doesn't finish against Bama and is physically dominated on the lines against Texas, is no where near the other best team in America. You'll be better next year however.
So, are we now trying to set the stage for refs being the difference in this one? Weather it's the pic play against Bama that sprung Renfrow a couple years ago, or UGA getting hosed on several calls last year, penalties and lack thereof have to be expected. The team that executes better all game, wins... period.
Bama's the better team team overall. However, Clemson has wanted this rematch since last year. CU was a one-trick offensive pony with Bryant and Bama teed off. With the seniors returning, Dabo making the qback change for a down-field threat and emergence of better WRs and RB, this will be a helluva game. CU 31 Bama 30 :)
As someone mentioned the other day, I've not heard anyone other than the media talk about the negativity these two meeting. Everyone needs a narrative these days.
Okay, so many of these articles state that Lawrence will see the best D he's faced. I do believe he practices against a fairly good unit every day.
