Hey man, Mullen is a great offensive coach and a great OC. He is not the most competent HC. Many recruits and their family members have commented on the huge difference in professionalism, team unity, and overall atmosphere at FL compared to other programs not just UGA. Yes they won the division last season but they also lost more games than any previous one, had a sweet schedule as far as SEC schedules go and when they had a Covid outbreak and had to forfeit... UGA had to pay the price cause Mullen had to have the same bye week as UGA so UGA ended up having to play a tough KY team they weren't supposed to play till after the FL game where even more of our already beaten down team got injured. So they beat a UGA with a walk-on QB who also got injured the 1st half, a new OC with no Spring or regular summer practices, our best receiver and Olineman out as well as over half our defensive starters out. Now FL was a good team no doubt and may have won anyway but had they faced the UGA that ended the season... we'll see how it goes this season. I wouldn't have extended Mullens contract. FL isn't MSST. That more with less talk should be embarrassing not something to brag about. Especially when it's not even true or proven on the field. FL may have 3Ls by Nov 1st. Bama, LSU, UGA. 2 almost definitely.

That's true. But is Harsin the kind of generational HC Saban is.....? Doubtful. He'll definitely do better than TN though. That dudes in trouble.

Uhhh,I have to disagree with you on that bud. I actually pull for Auburn when not playing UGA but UGA has dominated Auburn even more so than Bama in the Malzhan era. If not for the "Prayer at Jordan Hare" they'd have what 1 or 2 wins total? Malzahn only beat UGA 2 or 3 times and one 1 was pure luck. He didn't get fired cause of Bama. He got fired cause of UGA. I'm not bragging just being honest. When he's engaged in what the team is doing he's a pretty good HC. Harsin is in for a tough season but not as tough as Huepel or whatever the TN HCs name is. He better just take whatever guaranteed money he can get and run. Lol

The guy was nice enough to have y'all Gators beating Bama which is just wishful thinking at best cause FL lost every single offensive player that was responsible for 98% of last seasons yrds and pts. SO offense takes big step back. Really big and while the defense may be a tad better - it won't be anywhere near elite or top tier and the last recruiting class fell outta the top 10 and won't have any meaningful impact. Bama is WAY more talented on both sides. Oh and if you honestly believe FL has a chance against UGA... you don't know sht about football.Last season was a fluke but hey we'll give u that one - cause we still finished higher while FL fell outta the top 10 in team rankings and recruiting rankings!FL will have 3Ls at least by the end of Oct 30th. Actually Granthams defenses have outperformed Mullens offenses going back to MSST and have continued to do so at FL. Defensive recruiting the same!!! While Fromm did kill em on 3rd downs I'd point out FLs offense didnt score a TD until the 4th qrt when Kirby changed the defense. 23yrds rushing the entire game isnt gonna win. Granthams defenses have on several occasions been the only reason FL won the game. None of this is trolling its fact. As great as Trask appeared in alotta games against UGAs defensive coverage used until the 4th qrt he led them to 0TDs and 1FG or was it 2FGs? We won with the 49th ranked offense in the Nation which wont be close to the case this season offensively. But hey Mullen knows magic and Trask is in the same elite category as a QB as Tua, Lawrence, Fields, Burrows,Joe Montana and Dan Marino according to the preseason hype as usual so who knows! LOL Why didnt Mullens offensive and QB genius spot Trask before Franks injury? I personally think Emory Jones would be a better QB choice especially against top defenses. I could be wrong admittedly but if after all this talk every preseason if Mullen doesn't win the East and defeat UGA FL fans might wanna take a hard look at the actual statistical facts behind the hype and praise cause as HC it doesn't hold up. OC maybe but those are 2 very different jobs. Why would you ever have to do more with less at FL? Definitely not the philosophy Spurrier or Urban Myer won Nattys with! FLs recent recruiting successes have more to do with the pandemic and the lack of official visits and face to face visits than anything so I wouldnt get terribly excited just yet.

OHst didnt tweak much of anything and they weren't coming off a season where they were 1 play away from winning the NChmsp. Yes, they should have designed a different package for Fields but Fields knew all of this including the type of offense when he committed. His goal wasnt very realistic if he thought he'd start as a freshman. As a sophomore I think he would have started. Regardless, this is totally different and Daniel's may not even be eligible for 2020. I think if anything this affects Beck and Mathis not Brock or Newman. May the best QB win! There's nothing wrong with that!
