Good point. Point is, the young players (however talented they might be) have to understand, theres an equally talented stud coming in right behind them almost every year. Maybe even the #1 in the nation. It’s not rocket science, the only way to excel on this team, is through work ethic & effort (as it should be). Agiye can kick rocks. This ain’t no democracy. That’s why losing one player, or one assistant, means nothing. Put your big boy pants on & be glad you have the opportunity.
Bad apples everywhere. Throwing bottles on the field/at the opposing team has been going on at college football games for as long as I can remember. What shocked me though was that it took 25 minutes to restore order. Could’ve had TWO Pistons-Pacers brawls in that time. Not a good look. Really bad end to a really good game.
To my UT friends making the trip down this weekend, please leave the golfs balls and mustard at home. Cigars however…are welcome.
Not sure which games you were watching, but Hurts was Saban’s first dual-threat QB. Threw for nearly 3,000 yards, ran for another 1,000, had a QBR of 139.1, and lead Bama to the NC as a true freshman. Then Kiffin bailed on him a week before the game. I like Young, just don’t love him yet. If we want more success offensively, he’s got to start hitting those deep balls, or the run game will never open up.
That’s all you got? Jeepers man. I’ll be single soon, for the first time in 18 years. Scared to death about going on a date & telling a woman she looks nice. Will the Me-Toos get me? Absolutely Terrifying.
Even funnier how you jump on the foot note, while ignoring the meat of my comment. Thanks for proving my point.
Plenty of heat going around for both coordinators. If we’re talking about blame, it must be as cold as Antarctica at Malachi Moore’s house. Defense was already short-handed coming into A&M, more so than Any week prior. I haven’t heard a peep about that bone-headed hit, 90 seconds after kickoff. I don’t care that he’s a 2nd year player. He was 2nd team All-SEC, as Freshman Starter last year, and has been widely considered as one of the “leaders” on this defense. It was unnecessary. It was selfish. He let his team down in a MAJOR way. Bill O’Brien’s red zone offense was atrocious. And as much potential as Young has shown, he is a Huge step back from where any of the previous 3 guys were in their first years as starters. 4 of 25 on passes beyond 20 yards, from a QB that’s scared to scramble? More to that story.
Now that’s funny right there:) Pittman himself dressed in a zebra outfit couldn’t help these hogs.
