Any Vol fans have SEC Championship tickets they want to sell? I assume many were bought in advance based on the annual Vol preseason hype. GO GATORS! SEC East Champs!
In addition to being a cowardly approach to criticism the comments obviously are from someone who is not close to the Florida program because they are ill informed. If you have watched the gators this spring and compared them with spring a year ago you would know they are a much better team and much further along in many ways this year. Sure there are a lot of questions about this team especially at QB, but there were a lot more questions last year at this time. We have a lot more talent competing for QB, and I think Del Rio can be better than Will Grier. The defense has some depth concerns but potentially could be as good or better than last year. We bring back a lot more experience and depth on offensive line. A lot of incoming talent at receiver will add firepower to Mac's offense.
Gator Nation appreciates the low expectations and I hope we get them every year. Also Tennessee is the greatest team in the world and they will crush us....*%?$#*!
The key early test will be against the Gators. This may be the East championship game. The Gators will be a better team than last year. It will be a fun one to watch.
I think the Gator's chances are at least equal to 2015 to repeat. In addition to tabor, jackson and davis, they have D-lineman Brantley and a lot of experience and depth at that position and wilson at the other corner. I see no step back on defense. The performances against fsu and mich were largely due to zero production at qb. May not have a Grier replacement in kind but O will be much improved especially at o-line, receiver, and running game. The Gators are at a much better place than they were a year ago.
Love the hype for UT. Just like last year. The Gators will show up in Knoxville.
Don't think the Florida QB situation is that bad with the Grier loss. Between Del Rio and Franks we will have a QB. I am confident Mac and Nuss will be able to coach them up. It is possible that Grier would not have had a job upon his return after 6 games into the season anyway. Might have been a factor in his decision, too much competition.
I think Urban has a similar tattoo. That would be a great follow up story.
