I read that Rivals rated him a 3* due to their expectation of how he'll adapt between various schemes (4-3 vs. 3-4). Seems kinda silly to knock a kid down a star (or two) because of that, but then again, I can admit, I'm a little biased now that he's on with UK. You mentioning his weight being a reason for the differential in 'stars' between services makes more sense though. Thank you.

I started following different twitter feeds this morning around 10am EST waiting for this announcement. The kid is totally out of shape to play in the SEC. UK Staff is hoping he'll get down to 350 by June and Elam has expressed his desire to get in better shape, also. Either way, a HUGE get for the Cats - especially, over the Tide. Stoops has this recruiting thing working, for sure.
