im in agreeance. Clemson isnt as solid of a win as it appeared to be. i mean, past years we probably still wouldve lost it, so kudos on not doing that, but as a dawgs fan this is our first really solid test on the year
as a dawgs fan, im with you on this. with the texas game, arky had Ga Southern right after to help ride that emotional win. up until last game Arky hadnt faced a decent defense. A&M doesnt have an offensive pulse. itll be interesting to see how they do against our strong D and an offense that is starting to click
no way kentucky is that low on the list.
if my dawgs lose to USCjr this year, ill buy a gamecock mascot outfit and wear it alllll of next seasons games when my dawgs play
Tennesse fans, alumnus and boosters HAVE to be patient. i get it, yall have glory days of the 90s still fresh in your minds....but UT hasnt fielded a team of that caliber in quite sometime. yall gonna have to give heupel a good 5 years easily to develop a competitive program and its likely going to take more than that. with that said, as a Dawgs fan, id love to see rocky top become a tough opponent again.
stay in your zone there with the pac12. cal fan talking as if he knows anything about football.
i dont usually take stock in what a vol says, so please tell me how UGA is overrated?
LSU and UGA are the ones most suspect to drop a game week 1. UCLA had a tune up game already this season, albeit it was Hawaii, they still looked solid. i think though both teams pull it out. Go Dawgs
as a dawgs fan, i agree, our fans are some of, if not the worst in the nation. sorry you experienced that at the game.
ole miss is gonna surprise some teams this year. do they beat bama? A&M? possibly. i dont fully see it, but i wouldnt be shocked if they upset a top tier western team either. they will be fun to watch and could very easily land that program defining win this year. they wont win the division though, that will still be Bama, but watch out for them for sure to cause havoc
i think coaching gets added to that list this year though. Last year we saw Kirby willing to do something he wasnt willing to do in 2017 or 2018 and that was change the QB. shows hes at least willing to change and now it seems he has handed control of the offense to the OC fully. im a dawgs fan and we say it every year, but this year seems like its got all the pieces coming together...even with the injuries already.
not quite the same. i believe my dawgs were out 6 starters, most of them on Offense for the cincy game. while there are SOME similarities, the one thing to keep in mind, our presumed starter for the season opted out with like 2 weeks to go before the season started. when that happened we knew we were doomed. now i present this to you. UGA hasnt had 400 yards of offense in the passing game since Matthew stafford...so while yes, Daniels had put that up against Miss St, looking back at the good QBs and Receiver combos since stafford, you would think that we wouldve had at least 1 game like that against even a UMass team or Vandy or something along those lines. it shows that the offense is at least evolving and our coordinators are changing the style of play to highlight the strengths of the team. Cincy wasnt a bad team in the least and Daniels put up almost 400 yards in the air against them with a depleted offense. bowl games arent the measuring stick for programs any more with opt outs and such like that. i get that its "next man up" but its still the backup players, and even with such, we still got the W.
IF King has no lingering affects from his injury, then look for the game to be closer than the predictions say it will be. IF healthy i can see Miami at least putting a scare into Bama but i still dont think they can win it mainly because they also wont be able to stop Bama and that Bama D will be able to stop miami enough to win.
heres a bold prediction for you. Washington plays in the game
