The gamecocks play western Carolina on week 12 and don't play western Kentucky at all so I'll take your analysis of the upcoming college football season as seriously as you took your fact checking in a rush to get this stupid blog post out the door.
Being a resident of McKinney who lives right around the corner from where this proposed stadium would be built, let me give a little perspective. The school board's vote is to put a $220 million bond package before the voters in the community. Of which, this stadium would only be about a 1/5 of the package. The total package includes renovations to existing schools, money for fine arts and technology. Further, this stadium would be shared between three different high schools in the city who already share a 7,000 seat stadium that was built over fifty years ago. The current stadium is in an old part of town and has absolutely no parking whatsoever. By comparison, the monstrosity that was built in Allen, which is the town immediately adjacent to McKinney only services one high school. The city of Allen is only a little above 90,000 residents whereas McKinney is over 150,000.
Until that jerk behind the bar presses a button and the next thing we know, Notre Dame is in the playoffs.
