With sincerity, I think Tanner should feel out Staley regarding coaching the men's team. And why is Staley making about half of Martin's salary? Seems upside down to me. Regarding the sanctions, I say with sadness that the recruiting is so underwhelming that I probably won't notice an impact. I have begun treating men's hoops like I did football after SC's 28-0 loss to UVA in the Belk Bowl. Watch the games with low expectations, have a good laugh at the ineptitude, and if something unexpectedly good happens - appreciate the moment. That approach is better for mental health. Looking forward to this baseball season and then noticeable improvement in football. Next basketball season - more of the same.
