If you weren’t worried before about college football in the fall, you should be now
Agreed! Both of our children had to provide proof they had received a meningococcal vaccine PRIOR to applying for student housing. So how can any parent, in good conscience, allow their child to go away to college and "herd" in a dorm, classroom, locker room or stadium? We LOVE football in Texas! Grandmas will come out with their walkers to watch. I'm an AGGIE mama and those 14 Saturdays are as delightful as sweet tea but, should not come at the risk of a student athlete, coach or the 12th man. Now having said all of this, I am so okay with a delayed Winter/Spring 2021 season if it means that we have a vaccine in place. It makes me sad to think of an immediate future without NCAA or NFL ball in it but we must err on the side of what is safest/right. God Bless.
