It does have something to do with the point. All you can do is beat the teams you play. For the first time in a very long time, Tennessee has beaten the teams they've played (and yes, teams they should be beating) for quite a few games in a row. Nobody is saying Tennessee is better than Georgia, or Florida, or Alabama. We have handled our business thus far (twice against a team in South Carolina that has proved they can jump up and bite even the mighty Bulldogs), and now we have a big test coming up. You can acknowledge that fact without taking away from your own team.

I always think you writers get too much flak in the comment section. Then you type something preposterous like "the last time a Tennessee player intercepted two passes in a single game was 1981." My man, Bryce Thompson intercepted THREE passes in a single game LAST YEAR, well after the Chattanooga game. How can you be off by that much?

What is being stated is thus: The fact that these women both mentioned the assault at the time that it happened (4 years ago), and again now (4 years later), makes the report extremely credible. It does not allow for the usual "WhY dId ThEy WaIt So LoNg" bull crap. They reported it then, they're reporting it again now. Very relevant information, indeed.
