Some guys need that discipline that Kirby provides and flounder without it. It looks like the Eagles are a team that might have a good formula for providing that to players. I hope he gets a shot at Philly.
His passing skills are in question. His completion rates on slants and down the middle are the same as long balls and threaded windows. For one of them is awesome; for the other, it's incredibly pedestrian and inadequate in the NFL. He will be drafted in the first round in case he might be a Drew Brees, but he probably won't be near the top of that round unless his combine is awesome.
I'm a UGA fan, but TN definitely has the best hype videos in the SEC. The Squid Games one last year may have been the best of all time. That being said, I think it's a bit embarassing to have a great hype video released only to lose the game badly.
The over/under on Florida is 6.5. That means that everyone taking the under, are betting that Florida doesn't hit 6. Vegas agrees with this analysis. If you disagree, take the over. Thousands of people are betting that Florida is going to lay an egg.
UGA is pretty loaded at linebacker already. UGA needs a couple CBs and maybe a DT as backups.
Will Anderson is a one-trick pony who got incredibly lucky last season that his blaster style didn't get him injured. I doubt he'll go more than 3 games this season before he gets hurt, and then I'll have to listen to a bunch of whiners talk about "if he hadn't gotten injured, things would be different" as though injuries, style of play, conditioning, and practice aren't all elements of the game with predictable and consistent outcomes.
I really hope we don't rely too much on the zone. I may make jokes about Bryce, but that kid can dissect a zone defense. Arkansas, Florida, TAM, and Auburn all proved he struggles against man coverage.
Horrible game plan? When your defense is barely giving up a first down, would you seriously do anything other than run the ball and burn the clock? UGA ended that game so close to the endzone, I could've kicked the FG, but they didn't just in case. Why blow a sure thing? The game plan was smart because Kirby isn't going to do anything flashy and risk a game. He's a wise coach, not a fan.
Tennessee put up a bunch of yards on UGA's second and third string defense after that game was over.
I'm a UGA fan, but I agree with Gabriel. Alabama's run defense is stout. It's the secondary that's leaky. They're going to test if we can throw the ball when we need to.
Didn't Bama do the same thing shortly before when they played Arkansas?
I don't want anyone to get injured, but if Bama has one RB and two receivers who can't spread the load, the odds aren't great. If they have a small QB with a leaky Oline, there 4 key offensive players are in jeopardy against the hardest hitting D in college football.
It's crazy that Williamson is on special teams, right? I mean where is Bama if he gets hurt or ejected again? How leaky is special teams that they would even think of doing this?
I completely disagree. If Alabama really is down to their 6th string RB, it makes they offense one dimensional (predictable). This would give UGA's defense the chance to bring the ILBs in on pressure and rely on the OLBs to contain the QB. I don't think a one dimensional offense with a great but not elite passing game is going to beat the dawgs this year. Bryce Young is not Mayfield or Burrows yet (he may never be).
I hate to do a personal attack, but clearly, you're a moron. The woman didn't report anything until after 2:30 PM on Friday, so unless Smart has a crystal ball, this would be impossible. Just another idiot shooting off without taking the time to learn anything.
The difference b/w a poll and a vote. 1) Some polls are binding, others are not. All votes are binding. 2) Polls allow for general population participation. Not all votes do. For example, when Congress votes, it's not a poll b/c only a select group of "expert" representatives are given a vote, like the CFP.
