You have to admit that this team is a special one to watch, just like last year's LSU team. I agree some years Alabama may get some undeserved fawning, but you are crazy if you think this year's praise of their team has anything to do with bias. They have played a quality schedule and won convincingly every game.

I'm not making excuses here for Mullen, but the refs let this get out of hand. Mullen was angry by the missed calls late in the first half. Did you see him holding up 4 fingers and then 5 fingers due to the offensive PI, the defensive holding, etc.? Even the ex-GA QB calling the game admitted the officiating was bad. The refs needed at least one makeup call somewhere. Missing a late hit (targeting or not, dirty or not) was the last straw for Mullen. He shouldn't have reacted like that, but the terrible officiating across the SEC needs to be called out here too.
