What Weagle said is true...they think this will help. All it will do is increase the gap between have's and have not's. The blue bloods will get bluer because they're willing to pay ridiculous amounts of money for player endorsements. So, the best players will line up at the school that can "pay" the most. Parity in college football is already tough to create. It just got harder.

There's no way this will be equitable...nor do I think it should be. You're a Bama fan (as am I). There's about five players on Bama's team that will now have an opportunity to make obscene money. How long before the next Tua gets a million dollar endorsement deal? Not long. A handful of players will benefit tremendously, another handful of players will get some localized money, and the other 80% of the players will get next to nothing. Write it down...next they will be talking about each player getting their "fair share."
