Wow. Haters gonna hate. Hey, Bama fan. Take a second to realize how much a difference your (well not your) alumni contributions help pull in recruits. Bama is fortunate to have a lot of good things going for it, so much so that the recruiting takes care of itself. I don't believe that Saban is any better a recruiter than Mullen except for the fact that he can wave the Bama banner in the face of eager high school kids that can't wait for that NFL money. The recipe is easy. Chase those 4- and 5-star guys someone else already evaluated. You'll get most of them, because you're Bama, and most of them will work out, because the evaluations are usually close to correct. Once you get past that fact, who of the "stars" from last year's MSU squad did Bama try to recruit? Prescott? No. I'm sure they thought Simms was going to be a godsend. (Ha! Cooper made him look much better than he really is.) McKinney? Nope. Preston Smith? Still not on Bama's radar. Robinson? Keep looking. Hmm looks like MSU managed to recruit plenty of NFL talent that Bama had to clue about. Get off your high horse.

My thoughts exactly. I was definitely rooting for LSU in that game. They can say what they want about State's secondary; we bend but don't break. Looking at the other side, when Bad Bo comes out, TSUN breaks. An undefeated TSUN would definitely make the victory sweeter, but it makes me look forward to our Thanksgiving rivalry no less. GTHOM!
