I don't feel as though the hogs got much love for such a big win in an away game. Yes, the stats weren't pretty, but that was Brett's gameplan. That's why his system works. If you can keep high powered offenses like TCU from having the ball for most of the game then you can win. The hogs controlled the clock and possession for most of that game. Yes they gave up big plays, but most of those were due to pressure on Hill and good coverage so Hill was able to scramble for big chunks of yards. Our secondary is not very good but our Dline is looking better and the secondary will get better with time. I'm more impressed by how good the inexperienced guys on offense played considering how well known TCU is for Defense. I also think Dan Enos brings a nice element to help win some of those close games since he likes to pass. I think he proved his worth on that 2 point conversion. In addition, we only have to travel to Mizzou, MS State, and Auburn this year. If we can beat Aggie next week, we get Florida, Ole miss, Alabama, and LSU at home, in fayetteville, which are bound to be sold out games and a rowdy crowd. We have had Alabama's number the past few years and I wouldn't be surprised if we pull off that upset. Most importantly, the last time Miss USA was from Arkansas, the hogs won the national title in 1964. This team might just be destined to win.
3 Reasons you need to watch out for the hogs this year: 1. That wasn't the prettiest win but they have the experience of losing big, close games over the last 3 years to be a big surprise this year. 2. They have the best home schedule in the SEC getting, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss and LSU in Fayetteville. They only have to travel for the Auburn, Miss St. and Mizzou game. 3. Most importantly, the last time Miss USA was from Arkansas (1964), the hogs won the national title. After the big win this weekend and the Miss USA win last night, seems like they might be destined to win it all
As someone who has been to almost every sec school during game day, this article can't be taken seriously if grubs in Fayetteville, sky bar in auburn, or the library in Oxford aren't on the list. These are all cornerstones to not only the schools but also the towns themselves
