Right? I feel like this should be simple: If a coach can't stand in on a football practice that's at a high school because there's a quiet period, then how is the practice even going on?
I think all this angst from him is because Walmart decided to quit selling his favorite pleated khakis
Dude... You can't be that thick-skulled, can you? The article is obviously talking about quarterbacks, and it is implied that he was the only ***QB*** signee from 2014. Sheesh.
The packers fans live in North Carolina. The banner was a part of the guy's man cave decoration in his basement per another article I read off of twitter.
While yes, it is terrible that this kid got hurt, it's football. It's going to happen. The block was completely legal no matter how "dirty" you think it is. Unless someone here has NCAA officiating experience then I'm going to trust the call made on the field. To my limited knowledge of cut blocking rules, that block was completely fair game.
This is true, it would be much bigger news if Zo was out of the game this weekend seeing how big of a playmaker he is.
Having grown up in Oconee county and now a Junior at UGA, I wholeheartedly agree... I went to Bourbon when I was in high school and very rarely go back. You could literally go to ANY other bar and it would be better than Bourbon St. If you prefer to smell like sweat and bodily fluids then Bourbon St is your bar, otherwise, head to Mags which is right across the street and has much more space and billiards.
I agree. As a current student, I see many of my high school colleagues who do not even go to UGA down there partying and giving my school a bad image. More than three quarters of them do not even have tickets for the game *sigh* I would not be upset to see this "tradition" go
Whether or not Chris decides to make a career out of football or something else, he will be successful. He is a great role model and a DGD, I will be cheering for whichever team is lucky enough to land such a great young man.
As a current UGA student and life long fan who has attended many, many football games both in Athens and away, I will agree that some UGA *fans* act out of line, as with *every single other fan base in America*. Now, this does not excuse this kind of behavior however it is a complete gaff to think that your own team does not have fans who act the same way. Rivalries combined with alcohol and classless people will result in altercations, there's just no way around it. I myself have witnessed so many fan bases act this way yet never been called out for it. I am not saying that it is okay for UGA fans to do this, but yet we seem to be the only program to get called out for these sort of things. Being personally associated with the university unlike 90% of the fan base, I work towards being polite towards other fans because in the end everyone is simply human, I've even met UT, AU, even Florida fans who I've enjoyed talking to. Stay classy UGA, and stay classy SEC. Go dawgs
What a shame for UGA... Complete control of our destiny and decide to lay an egg. So it goes as a Georgia fan...
