When you see the kind of decline the Razorbacks have experienced, it’s due to lack of quality of recruiting, poor evaluation of talent and coaches recruiting only to meet their quotas. It’s easy for them to say competition of NIL is the problem. When the Head Coach manages the game and their position coaches there will be improvement of team performance. The profession of today’s College Coaches has got completely out of hand, their contacts have protection clauses , with buyout’s of 5 to 76 million dollars. Do you really belief that they are motivated to produce results fans expect.

There is so many holes or weaknesses with this Razorback team, how does anyone fix this in one off season? Do you start at the top with the Coaches and AD or start rebuilding the Team Players ? With this Program’s massive issues the U of A Administration’s had better go both ways.

Th Athletic Department needs to stop ticket sells until they are capable of producing an entertaining, competitive D1 team in the toughest conference in college football. It’s obvious to be a winner in this league you must have Top Coaches, Top Players and Administration . Fans are not receiving what their paying for , so expect many comments and opinions and until this program is turned around. When all you get is negativity why pay for this.

Sam fires the OC AND probably he should but we have a 3-7 record , that means we were out scored, DUH.

We the Arkansas Fan’s knows what happened our ass was their’s for 3 hours as you would say. I keeping thinking back to the first two years of Pittman’s run, it was obvious Chad Morris couldn’t coach his self out of a paper bag but he recruited better then this group.

The U of A administration better make a statement regarding this Coaching Staff the caliber of the Player’s and the Athletic Director , his experiment didn’t work. If they don’t the Stadium is going to be extremely empty next year.

Every team we have played since the A&M game has used the same kind of Defensive approach and every future game they will use the same game plan. Hogs weaknesses have been exposed, either the coaching or the player’s abilities or both doesn’t have the answer. They say we got to run the ball , there’s no holes, we can’t pass the ball no QB protection, can’t pickup the blitzes, take a look at the routes the receiver’s are running they should be taking what the defense is giving them. This Team and Coaching is trying to fix things that should have been addressed a long time not 8 games in.

The writing was on the wall, after the A&M game, as I said then we want win a SEC game this year. We don’t have the talent to compete in the SEC West. Change is going to have to happen.

Three Alabama Plays in the first half was the difference of the game. Two broken coverage plays that both resulted in Touchdowns and Alabama had another drive where they were 3rd and 15 yards and they completed a 25 yard pass due to coverage slack given the receiver , went on to score. Even with this loss, one of the better played games by the Razorbacks, proud of the Hogs fight on the road.

K.J isn’t the problem, give him some protection to throw the ball, let the passing game open up the running game, shorten up some receiver routes. Our real problem is we have to score more than our opponents, because our defense is giving up to many points, opponents receivers are given to much space and their passing game is opening up their running game causing our Defense to stay on the field to long. The HOGS need to get better at basic football skills, blocking and tackling, etc..

A 6-6 season isn’t going happen, as a team there is too many weaknesses that has been exposed, the competition is going to hammer these. K.J. can’t even get a three step drop back even from the shotgun without the defense all over him. Our defense can’t stop the run, the secondary gives too much gap to opposing receivers , our ability to stop opposition’s 3rd downs yardage gains is ridiculous and you might as well forget a 4 quarter game out of the HOGs.

I think expectation’s of the team after losing their OC,DC Coordinators and 25 Players to the transfer pool has been too much for them to overcome. The only solution for the future is the coaches hitting the recruit trail seven days a week. We don’t have the talent to be competing in the SEC and it’s Yurachek job to decide if we have the right Coaches.

If they were holding, it wasn’t enough. They gave up 7 sacks and I don’t know how many lost yardage plays. You got to give them some credit, at least they suited up.

I don’t suggest I have any experience at play calling, but when they lined up four defensive players on the hole and the side my play was called to go. I think I might have called an audible or another timeout if this play was that important for our success , especially considering how weak our blocking had been.

It may be time to take a page out of Colorado’s recruiting approach and the NIL impact.

I realize Coach doesn’t like Social Media comments and I respect his honesty but today was lack of basic football, pass blocking, run blocking ,tackling , play calling and coaching. After this game I would say our players and coaches are not in the same league with A&M and probably will not be competitive the balance of SEC season, I hope I’am wrong. But I believe the conversations need to begin. Fans expect to win and College Football is a business and revenue stream for the University and I’am sure Yurachek and the Foundation realizes this.

Coaches need to grade out the secondary , they were ate up as in previous years. The Defense was 2nd half quitter’s . These are just the facts not trying to throw salt on the wound. The Razorbacks came to play, but couldn’t convert in the Red Zone and again penalties were killers. You can’t complete with quality team’s with these issues and on the road. As a team they must find that extra gear if they want to be in the end of the year conversation in the SEC.

This change had to happen. Also they must recruit SEC Speed in the Secondary.

Glad to see Coach Briles is staying, just wondering when the Razorbacks is going to get a few studs, both sides of ball from the transfer pool. It’s getting boring hearing about the rich getting richer.

This young man was a contributor and hate to see him leave. But word and commitment will always follow his football career .

I’am extremely excited Coach Pittman addressed the position coaching in the secondary , it was very obvious all season this was a major team weakness.

Seems to be more departures, then incoming. While other programs are very active in the transfer program, soaking up a lot of talent. I understand some of the Razorback Transfers were limited in participation, but the talent pool market is only so deep. I assume the coaches have a handle on this, it seems to be awful quiet.

This game is on Coach Pitt, typical 2022 Razorback game. Razorbacks get a lead in the game, Briles Offense goes conservative the Razorback Defense fails to function, secondary totally incompetent and Coach Pitt doesn’t lead.

If these players Don’t see consistent playing time and are not providing contribution that efects game performance. They need to show search for another opportunity to show case their skills where demands are not as great.
