Jake Bentley is a good QB, but has not won the Games and has not stepped up in clutch situations... but, he’s not the problem. Hear me out... Jalen Hurts did not perform and pulled by Sabin. The outcome was a talented QB that produced a National Title. Bryant Kelly did not perform and pulled by Swiney... that out come was also produced a National Title (as hard as that is to say).. But at South Carolina, the QB can continue to chock in clutch situations and continue to start for 32 consecutive Games. It is not Bentley’s fault there are no consequences for less that adequate performances, that’s the Head Coach’s fault. Never would such performance at Alabama or Clemson (again, I cannot believe I’m saying that) would such mediocrity be allowed without there being consequences. The Head Coach (Muschamp) gets paid to make the tough decisions about personnel based on performance and W/L’s. He is simply not doing it. I support Jake Bentley, his efforts, his attitude, and character. I do not support Muschamp in his ability to make the necessary decisions to produce a winning Program.
