As the father of a D1 athlete who had multiple offers from schools all over the country, my daughter chose to take her talents to a non power 5 school. Why? She loved the coach, the city the educational opportunities. UW some kids only see what’s on the surface and go where they are “supposed” to go for their sport. But I can tell you from direct experience most kids commit and attend schools for a myriad of reasons beyond just the sport they play and how good they school is at it.

First thing I noticed too. Sure I would love to see us average 100 points a game but we don’t need to shoot better to beat anyone.
