I think they should’ve been flipped.UT to the Sugar and Bama to the Orange.Basically, they said Bama was the better team because the SEC runner up goes to New Orleans.
Ok who got left out this year? Two losses and your out. It’s been that way since it started. They got it right and yesterday’s games proved it.
Good to see the SEC teams showing these other schools how to play football. We knew Florida,Missouri, and Kentucky were going to lose. These bigger bowls are getting a taste of football in the south.
Yeah,Richt lost to them too many times.Once in ‘06.I got to witness that one firsthand.
Wow,I didn’t see that coming.Congratulations SC.You played like a champion tonight.
Tennessee would be in trouble, especially if USC looks strong and wins convincingly. The ACC would be left out,for sure.
TV revenue is very important. The matchup’s mean everything. No way they put UGA vs Vols. The viewership would suffer, thus hurting revenue of advertisers. Thus hurting next’s years pricing on commercials. The committee knows this. They split up Georgia and Alabama in 2017 and last year, which was a great idea.
He’s right.ACC champ vs at large.
Exactly.Bama would get invited as an at large.
They split Georgia and Alabama up in 2017.That would be the smart move, setting up a possible all-SEC National Championship Game. How fun.Same thing happened last year.
I’m a Orange Bowl season ticket holder. The ACC Champs on non playoff years get the bid.The other team is At-large and could be anybody. The SEC does not have a tie-in with the Orange Bowl. The SEC is tied in with the Sugar Bowl.
I’m very disappointed in Kentucky.I thought for sure this would be the year for them to come up out of the mediocre 8-4 football season.Let’s just face the truth, the top tier schools in the SEC have been and will still be the only schools to win the natty.Alabama,Auburn,Georgia,Florida,LSU,and Tennessee.South Carolina had there chance in 1984 and lost to Navy.Sorry, the rest of these schools may win the conference, but that’s the ceiling.I’ve been watching CF since 1982.
The buyout is too high. They’re stuck with him for a while.I never saw his appeal. The only reason he won a natty was because Auburn forgot how to cover a kickoff.
I don’t get it either. He’s trying to help the audience understand the injury. The guy’s really good,in my opinion.
I thought for sure Kentucky was finishing 10-2 last year and making the Sugar Bowl.Such great fans, they deserve a NYDB.
Looks like? It is.I’ve said this over and over.If we don’t knock them out last year, they might not get upset the next weekend and make it in.Easy schedule.
The tickets would cost people a car payment.
First rule of football, don’t ever let anyone behind you.
He won a natty at FSU because Auburn couldn’t cover a kickoff.I never saw what was so special about this guy.
Absolutely embarrassing. No reason at all to lose that game at home.North Carolina just beat them in Boone. I’m shocked and upset.
Tennessee shouldn’t have lost to them last year. It’ll be close but I think the Vols pull away in the second half.I sure hope so.I still haven’t forgiven Pitt for that ‘82 Sugar Bowl loss when they were clearly holding on that final play.
That Oregon team went into the Horeshoe and beat The Buckeyes last September. No way that team is a slotch.I think Georgia just lined up and torched ‘em.
All the talk about Florida being the fourth or fifth team in the East? I don’t think so.It won’t surprise me if the Gators are undefeated for the Cocktail Party.
Nice hearing these great things about my Dawgs, but I don’t think we’re as goid as last year.Jennings in the middle.A beast. We took a step back at the rb position. That said,I can’t wait to see Bama spank the Longhorns this Saturday.I want my conference to win these games.I was screaming for Florida Saturday night. It’s football time, folks!!
