Dave- the narrative that PO’d fans were mad at Kiffen is largely untrue. I’m not speaking for the idiots throwing things. Everyone was infuriated for almost 4 hours at that point. It was the refs. Who no serious journalists will take to task and includes Sankey and Birmingham who consistently won’t hold officiating accountable. It’s a systemic problem but no one has the courage to take them to task and stay on the story that effects the conference every weekend. Started with all the flops, easily over 20, only by the defense and only when they needed to slow us down. The strip-six which was correctly called for a TD, their reversal was obscene. Spot calls horrific. Multiple other things overlooked, like obvious too many men on the field. No one could objectively say the barrage of bad calls that started early and often led base to be madder than hell at the officials, Sankey and Birmingham. Not at Kiffen. This is how we know the idiots throwing things were drunk, if you’re going to do something that stupid, at least do it to the real villains that no one holds accountable.

Why? There’s no history of anything remotely close to that happening in Neyland. Always hospitable, more so when it’s not UGA, BAMA or UF. Certainly can’t say the same for UGA or UF, both utterly obnoxious. So why Muffin?
