Oh don't worry I did get my remote. Only watched about 5 minutes of it entirely cause no pony in the race so who cares. Like I said, good for Georgia fans, but for NCAA trying to make a case they solved the puzzle people were made about during bcs era, they didn't, and I'm sure 12 teams will have major flaws too.
Anything shown on Hallmark channel would have been more entertaining. I guess cool for Georgia fans, but snoozefest for sure on excitement.

NC was a lame duck #1 anyway about to get knocked out tomorrow with new rankings. Does it really count as beating a #1? Maybe on paper, but Alabama wasn't the team to dethrone them. I'm waiting for Tennessee to somehow go 12-0, win the SEC, and then get picked for the CFP....AND THEN...NCAA lays the hammer for the Pruitt junk and says no bowl games for Tennessee so its all for nothing. I honestly would not even be surprised.
Disagree....Alabama sucks the refs pretty hard every season.
If Alabama loses, they drop to #5 in rankings. If Tennessee loses, they drop out of top 25....usually how it goes.
Also I petition Danielson from cbs not be on the call for the game. Get another crew to do it. Don't feel like hearing him have orgasms over Alabama for 60 minutes.

No calling for the coaches head and not sure this would even make them "pretenders" since they were never expected to win this game in the first place. Just a way for Saban to not give any info, keep people thinking, and keep having Tennessee practice for two different scenarios until game time. If he does play you know Tennessee will hit hard on that shoulder if they get to him. Saban playing with fire, but whatever. As a Tennessee fan it'd be better if he did play so if the unexpected happens and UT actually wins (tall order) there wouldn't be the excuse "well Bryce didn't play blah blah". Yet even if he does and that happened the excuse would be he wasn't 100% so really it's a lose lose for Tennessee with the critics. Whatever. Need Clemson and Michigan to lose since everyone knows they are the true pretenders.
I see it being a good close game, and then the dagger will be some stupid PI called on Tennessee to make up for a missed call earlier in the game, but of course at a time where it makes or breaks.
That, or it'll be a huge blowout because there is so much hype to it.

This is truly one of those stories where the writer is just trying to praise Alabama. Just like the stupid ranking lists on ESPN for weird stats and all, just to point out Alabama would be at the top somehow. Whatever. I think they just need to settle the game like real men, and have the mascots meet on the 50 and fight to the death. That would for sure be worth the min $400 asking price per ticket right now to get into the gate.

Nah. Takes away from the atmosphere at Neyland and doesnt make it special anymore. Plus, chances are Vols would lose to Vandy from karma. All this does is open up for other SEC teams to do something at Neyland.
