I think I can make a decent case that it is a good class, but bear with me because I'm sure my argument is tainted with a healthy dose of homerism. Missouri just isn't in a class with LSU where we're vying for top-5 classes annually (maybe one day). Instead it's more about filling holes. When you're in Missouri's situation, it doesn't really matter is your recruiting class is ranked 25 or 45, so long as you're plugging in positions that you're weak. Our defense is our current issue and Odom's staff landed a healthy dose of defensive players. Granted, they're 3* and not 5*, but they address our immediate needs. Focusing on more 5* players in areas where we're already deep would do us less good than a healthy stream of 3* where we need them. Glass half full, I guess.

I like Herbie and I like Mizzou. Tiger fans need to ease up on the dreaded "R" word. I get it. We're under appreciated but it just sounds whiny. That said, watch out for the Tigers from north of the Mason-Dixon. They're full of surprises!
