overall athleticism. YAC, changing direction, leaping abilities, vision. he has ok speed, but listed 40 times can be misleading; ie....a HS track coach with a hand timer. he may be one of those talents that just has the unique ability to get open regardless of the route or he could just be one of those guys that is a pure gamer and his talents show up under duress.
NO BLACK HELMETS!!! Jerseys are cool...NO BLACK PANTS! NO BLACK HELMETS!
man....y'all keep talking about not being in game shape, but forgetting that Gurley rushed for 198 in the very first game of the year..now he is healthy and peed off, and playing behind a more experienced O-line. I think it would be safe to say he will get his yards. But I am a homer.
this is Georgias last conference game. UGA wins this one, combined with a Mizzou loss, and we are in. If UGA wins out, and includes a win in the SECCG, then that could ( emphasis on "could) murky the waters in the CFPO. Right now, I think most Dawg fans just want to beat the Barn.
MAN....after reading that,I am sure glad I visited this page. My football knowledge just increased ten-fold just by looking at your post. Sometimes excuses can be made and heard as logic will dictate, but in the case of UGA-v-Mizzou, as with UGA-vUF, no excuses can be made. A one possession game, or even a two possession game, any number of excuses could be valid, but a five possession game???.....you need to take your lumps and go home. And you best be ready for Tennessee.....y'all get to go to Neyland.
no...we suk...but just maybe we can play enough defense to beat UK....god knows we can't throw the ball. sometimes I wonder if we could even throw up.
AND OH...I forgot.....get over it...you lost to Georgia.
@ Mizzou All Day...stats mean squat; Florida proved that while waxing our azz all over Everbank Field. Neither do your stats, cause as I recollect, we put on a clinic about how to rush the ball on a pretend defense--at Faurot Field. Your defense was absent that day in Columbia and the numbers you so adamantly want to refer to prove that. You have no validation in your argument. 34-0 and only crossing the 50yd line three times holds you at bay. Not to mention Chubb and Douglas gashing you for 210 while that pitiful Dawg run D held you to....50 yards(?) Go back to your basement and finish your social studies homework. Mi Mizzou may win out and go to the Dome...hope you do...good luck.
you threw up a goose egg against a limping. pathetic UGA team too. you gave up about 3 miles of rushing to a 18 year old freshmen, who was playiong in a weak 3A Georgia HS region last year, and you lost to...Indiania!?!? Really...the SEC east is pathetic this year dude! Every talking head in the country has been saying it all year. Unless you have been living under a rock, the SEC west has smashed nearly every team they have played. if Mizzou sneaks past Tennessee in Neyland ( and I am guessing MU wet's) the bed there) Then MU gets to face off with probably Miss St, or Bama in the Dome...hope you enjoyed the scourging UGA gave you in Columbia, cause if you get to the ATL, it's going to be on display again.
the problem with all of this theoretical and absolute thought processes; the SEC east could be the weakest it has been in the last 20 years. as a group, they all pretty much suck. mark it now, but the west will once again dominate the east representative in the dome, just as it has 6 of the last 7 years....2012 Georgia was the only east team that even had a sniff at the SEC title. most all other takers were demolished.
CPJ has been all over DB cruits since he got to Athens.
Darth Visor will have the birds ready to play on Sept 13th...that is the Gospel according the the OBC, you can rest assured.
Hmmmm....18-26 for 131yds 0 picks 0 fumbles 0 muffed hand offs, and his RB's had enough rushing yardage to lay out a F-16 landing strip....I would say that is pretty reliable and efficient. But, to a point, the addition of Mitchell and JSW would benefit Mason....that would benefit any team for that matter. The intangibles that Mason has; confidence in the run game, knowledge of his abilities and understanding his limitations, will be the ace up his sleeve.
USCe got hammered, but it would be folly to think the OBC will not adjust some things. That will be a different team in two weeks when my Dogs roll into Cola.
to some extent I agree. that was a Chris Petersen-less BSU.
as SEC fans of various schools read this short tweet...listen closely and the sounds of a cacophony of laughter permeates the southland and filters throughout the rest of the nation. Only an imaginary girlfriend would take comments like this to heart.
for what it's worth....Richt, Muschamp, Pinkel, Spurrier and Sumlin, each have an actual photo on the field playing , and not a posed program shot.
