The asterisk of difficulty of schedule has been left off of a number of SEC teams on their way top of the conference. I'll take it.
I'm not a fan of how these things play out. The same thing happened with the girl who assaulted Dorial Green-Beckam. His GF convinced her to not press charges. Once your name is out there, all sorts of fans and other people start getting involved.
I'll take the returning leading tackler in the SEC. If he's not available, I'll take the second leading tackler in the SEC. Interestingly enough, neither are on here.
Who here lost to Florida and South Carolina last year?
He was so bad, he failed to even make the list.
Josh Dobbs vs Mizzou 2014: 24-37 for 195yds 1TD and 1INT 1 Fumble 2013: 26-42 for 240yds 0TD and 2INT 1 Fumble I don't think Mizzou is too concerned about Tennessee.
Pretty poor form. Seems there are some less than impressive reporters.
Sheer curiosity how many of the past 4 games our FPI predicted us to win.
He was just not quite ready for the job. He's a great coach though and will make whatever team he ends up as a D-coordinator for, a contender.

Or.... Missouri wins out and beats Alabama in the Playoffs for our first SEC Championship.
As bad as Missouri played offensively, their defense has been dominant when not in the prevent. If last week was a step in the right direction, which it might just be an anomaly, I'd say that we will be a depleted Tenn team and fare equally against Arkansas as Ole Miss does this week. Lots of "We'll see" to pass around.
You can count 1 FCS win toward bowl eligibility.
We can claim 1961 where were were forced out of #1 due to a loss to a team who played an ineligible player thus forfeiting the win. This would be an SEC move, to claim that title, so might as well.
Not to say you're right or wrong... but 50% of a 90,000 person stadium is still 45,000 cowbells. (yes, I know not everyone has one)
Can't argue with any of this. Murphy has dropped some easy passes though, which I'm sure hasn't helped his cause yet.
I'd take USC, Georgia, and Mizzou and say they'd have a fair shot at winning the B10 or the ACC this year. Not the best teams in the country, but dangerous. (I think Mizzou isn't a top 25 team yet, but hey... I'll take it).
One of the common themes in this article: If USC/UGA can beat Mizzou, they are in the driver seat for the division. Doesn't that infer that Mizzou is the leader right now?
Missouri fans are the only ones who read this apparently. Interesting take and we are optimistic for a repeat appearance in the SECCG with a hopefully different outcome.
UGA sadly is only going to get better from this game forward. This is the last time they take the ball away from Gurley.
I'd settle for at least being considered in the same group as Miss St. I mean, come on!!! It's Miss St. for christ's sake.
Yeah, I don't see this game being close. If it is, I owe Spurrier an apology letter.
Trying to manufacture some hype I see. Georgia has looked dominant while USC has struggled to be average. QB play won't determine anything in this game other than how badly UGA beats USC.
Please dear god, explain why Miss St. and Nebraska are in a tier above Mizzou. Look, I'm not saying we are world beaters here, but wtf is up with the love affair with Miss St. when they've displayed nothing more than us?
Yes, of course I think Mizzou should be ranked higher, but I also understand we've not played anyone yet. Miss St. however being ranked as a darkhorse contender is just preseason media hype. They've looked no better than Mizzou and their QB is not going to be a Heisman candidate.
I don't think USC is getting enough credit for their poor performance. A&M was good, but the receivers were wide open and the QB was hardly ever in any trouble. I am going to disagree on them and determine that they are in for a long couple of weeks defensively and offensively.
You want to claim you've got the best defense after beating a team that didn't register a Power 5 win last year and only won 8 games? You do realize that aside from 4 picks, you still gave up around 400 yards of offense to an average team at best.
