Against backups. Typical Dak. Wait till next week against starters. He will be destroyed. Revert back to useless Dak.
Once again we have learned that depending on and picking teams for bowl games mostly on regular season records creates terrible bowl matchups. Witness Cincinnati’s embarrassment. Six points. It’s offense was offensive to people watching that game. The two best defenses in the nation now are Bama and Georgia. That’s why they both deserve to be in the National Championship game. And they are.
You are as dumb as dirt. These kids make close to nothing. Nowhere else in America can businesses get away with agreeing not to pay their workers a fair market rate on the theory that their product is defined by not paying their workers a fair market rate. And under ordinary principles of antitrust law, it is not evident why college sports should be any different. But it has been and will continue to operate that way unless more federal and state laws are changed, and the learning institutions adhere to these laws or rules.
You moron. College kids get paid squat. Peanuts compared to the revenue the football program/student athletes generates to the institutions. The recent lawsuit won by Northwestern does not allow for athletes to be paid directly. Do some reading before you flaunt your ignorance and stupidity here.
Except the kids aren’t making millions of dollars. The universities and schools pocket the millions and tens of millions of dollars—not the student athletes. And many of these athletes graduate with meaningless degrees, which means after their professional careers, they will not just ease into a successful career. Many struggle. The SEC is littered with kids who can barely speak as evidenced by interviews. I don’t blame or criticize and athlete for choosing their professional future over playing in one of the many meaningless bowl games.
You play the regular season to establish and demonstrate your skills. It’s not acceptable among professional teams to just quit mid-season in college. You have to show your talent during different parts of the season and in different circumstances. But at season’s end—and with no championship to play for—every player faces a decision. There are many meaningless bowl games created the last 10-20 year for one reason: money. Not money to the athletes but to others. You’d have to be a complete moron to denigrate a kid for not jeopardizing his career by playing in one of these many meaningless bowl games.
Don’t make fun of a guy who has a few years before he collects Social Security.
Ohio State belonged in that game. Not the terrible Cincinnati team.
PAC 10 defenses suck. But let anyone here pretend that Ohio State didn’t belong in that game vs. Alabama after tonight and you are just insane.
LOL The MortgageYourHome.com Bowl The AnalFissureAnnualCheckup.com Bowl The Transgender Realignment Bowl The Monkfish Have Feelings Bowl The Mormon Stays Monogamous To His Ten Wives Bowl It’s insane to play in a meaningless bowl game and jeopardize a professional career—especially when many of these kids have meaningless degrees.
Kirk is an embarrassment. You play for maybe one year or possibly more for a college and get paid nothing. Then you have an opportunity to make millions playing professionally. Even though a career in the pros normally last less than six or seven years. And this idiot would have you jeopardize all of that for playing in one bowl game. He’s a pathetic moron.
ND stunk all year. ZERO wins against any top 20 team. Z E R O Overall record gets you bad bowl games. Strength of schedule the games will be more competitive.
Overall record gets you bad bowl games. Strength of schedule the games will be more competitive.
I didn’t advocate Utah, you moron. Cincinnati beat NOBODY. A weak division. Undefeated means nothing unless you play good teams. They beat ND, which beat ZERO teams in top 20 during reg season. Cincinnati did not belong in that game.
This game was a joke. Cincinnati’s line was blown off the ball. The gaps and holes were H U G E. Anyone could have run for 100 yards. The “experts” ate crow. Strength of schedule matters. Cincinnati beat ND, which did not beat a top 20 team. Cincinnati did not belong in this game.
Please. Baylor or Oklahoma have better linemen and would have been more creative and dynamic than this lackluster Cincinnati offense. The QB had four passes blocked at the line of scrimmage! Baylor, Oklahoma and other teams make it a game, not a yawnfest.
Do you actually believe Oklahoma or Baylor would’ve scored just six points? Sell crazy someplace else. Cincinnati was a lightweight and got E X P O S E D
Wrong. WF or Purdue would’ve scored more points thus reducing the number of possessions or time Bama would have the ball. It would be more competitive than this embarrassment. As an put the breaks on during the last drive or Bama would’ve scored over 30 points. Two lousy field goals. Six lousy points.
Stop. This game was over at opening kickoff. Line of scrimmage is dominated by Georgia. End of story. Michigan will be lucky to score a TD during garbage time in the 4Q.
Please make it more competitive than these two turkeys today.
Let’s be honest, though. Allegheny Community College would’ve scored more than two lousy field goals. Outcoached and outplayed, Cincinnati needs to play in the Outback Salad Dressing Bowl, never for a national championship. This was an embarrassment.
Stop. Who did Cincinnati play? You average these points against mostly weak teams and we should be impressed? No. Undefeated and you play only two teams in the top 25. Strength of schedule matters.
Just stop the insanity. ND did not beat a single team in the top 20 this season. Cincinnati did not belong in a playoff game. Six points. And Bama ran all over this weak D line. Outcoached and outplayed. This was an embarrassment.
Stop the BS. Cincinnati belongs in the Salad Dressing Bowl not a playoff game. Strength of schedule matters. This was an embarrassment.
Stop. Michigan couldn’t score 28 points if they played another six quarters.
Two terrible playoff games. Cincinnati didn’t belong within 1000 miles of a playoff game tonight. Michigan is toast.
Stop. Just stop the bs. Two lousy field goals and they allowed over 200 yards on the ground. Wake Forrest or Perdue would have scored more points. This was an embarrassment. Strength of schedule matters.
Stop this insanity. An embarrassment. All the “experts” who picked these teams to play in the playoffs ate crow. Six points. Bama ran unopposed all game. Cincinnati didn’t belong within a thousand miles of this game. Strength of schedule matters. Oklahoma, Baylor, Ohio State and other teams belonged in this game. Not Cincinnati.
All the “experts” just ate crow. Cincinnati didn’t belong anywhere near this game today. Outplayed and outcoached. Two lousy field goals. Bama ran unopposed. They could have scored another TD on the ground in the last two minutes. Another reason why strength of schedule matters. Oklahoma, Baylor, Ohio State and other teams belonged in this game. An embarrassment.
Stop this insanity. A team that scores two lousy field goals does not belong within a thousand miles of a game of this stature. They could not stop the run. Bama could have run for 300 yards. This was an embarrassment. Outcoached and outplayed. Oklahoma, Baylor, Ohio State and other teams belonged in this game. Not Cincinnati.
