This ^^ is really not cool and not something that should be said to another human being ever. Being on an internet comment section on your favorite sports team does not make that acceptable.
^^truth. We're going be to stuck in 15-20 range for awhile under Mac unless he brings in staff who are better recruiters.
Because of this smugness (which is visible in a lot more than just that one comment LSU fans are honed in on), I don't think many gator fans would be heartbroken to see him leave, though I think he feels like he has too much to prove at Florida right now to leave anyways. I think there would be more pissy-ness about leaving Florida for Oregon on the grounds of "why would he think UO is better than UF as a gig?" but he personally wouldn't be missed.
just about everything unfortunately. how about our collective 1-9 record against them this season with the remaining games Fla @ LSU, Auburn @ UGA, Ark-Mizzou, and Vandy-Ole Miss. Frankly it looks like Vanderbilt is the East team with the best chances of beat a West team this year. And that 1 win so far was UK-Miss State.
is this "t.u." thing you keep doing something A&M fans do to try to take a shot at Texas by not calling it UT or do you actually not know the name of the school you're calling (in one regard) "the worst"?
though it pains me to say, the assertion that we're the favorite in the east is garbage. Tennessee has a clear path whereas Florida has to play at both Arkansas and LSU. Both games are toss ups but add in Ark and LSU getting home field. We should beat both UGA and SCar, but none of this says "probable favorite" when UT has only Mizzou, SCar, Kentucky and Vandy left. To re-write it: "Jim McElwain seems to have done an adequate job of turning Florida around - keeping the Gators in the race for the SEC East." Mac and Geoff Collins are still riding Muschamp's defensive recruits, and the UF offense appears to qualify as average right now. Still too early to really judge Mac's results, but to call them fantastic is invalid. I can't envision Texas would really want to take him, but I don't see him leaving anyways.
I think the conference is waiting to confirm that Tennessee loses to Bama and Florida beats both Mizzou and UGA. If y'all win or we lose one of those two, chances are the LSU-Fla game wouldn't prove relevant for the conference records. I think it's the @Arkansas game that's the most concerning for Florida, but balancing the dynamics of the conference games against timing to get things properly lined up, I feel like they'd have to decide after Fla-GA.
our "hype" video game is pretty weak this year. i think they're trying too hard to be understated, but it's just underwhelming.
