Tanner broke the bank giving Muschamp a huge buyout because he won with Spurriers players in Season 2 now he's forced to consider unproven Assistant Coaches like Beamer and a HC from the Big South Conference named Jamie to be the HC at a Power 5 school in the SEC. Maybe Tanner is the problem. A great championship winning Baseball Coach and a mediocre AD
So Tanner is hoping he'll luck up like Clemson and hire the next Dabo from the ranks of unproven Assistant Coaches? Good luck with that. Apparently the Brad Scott fiasco is a distant memory
The biggest blunder Tanner made was hiring Muschamp who couldn't get it done at Florida, giving him a second chance after he was fired for a repeat performance at SC and a huge buyout afraid he was going to be a hot commodity for a bigger school. I'm no Monday Morning Quarterback. I was against hiring Boom when he was first announced at SC.
