I would love the first Ark. State game in Little Rock to be against Texas. And just for fun, let the Longhorns have the home locker room.
If they do make a change, I can see a lot of Georgia fans looking like these Dallas Cowboy fans who said Tony Romo was the only reason they haven't won 3 or 6 Super Bowls. It's one of those be careful what you wish for, you might get it.
These really get old, no pun intended. Their employers or themselves will decide this. Both appear to be healthy but that can all change in a second at their age, at anyone's age really. The answer to this question is easy, as long as they want and someone is willing to employ them!
I really do not get the big concern over a helmet that has come off with the NCAA or the NFL. They can just put their helmet back on on the field.
Until we either win a CFP game no one in the SEC should be saying anything about expansion. It make us sound like a TCU or a Boise State. And really low attendance and interests for the smaller bowls? Wow, ESPN owned bowls with two 6-6 teams from non-Power5 conferences didn't sell 45,000 tickets in a location a thousand miles away? Just when did they? As long as the cameras fit in the stadium that's all that matters. If sponsors want to pay for it and enough people want to watch it on TV and we do because sometimes Ball State vs. Utah State can be a good football game and fun to watch, then who cares if there is no one there. The schools get money, their fans get to say they went to a bowl game, the players actually get to go to a bowl game and on a Tuesday night in December maybe we get a good football game to watch.
Right, I would think something more like Rice and Texas 71-21-1 but is a rivalry as opposed to LSU/South Carolina
This is insane. Alabama's ooc rival would be Penn State. Two historic programs that have played home and home before. As far as LSU/Michigan. Les Miles doesn't define who LSU is, no more than Nick Saban defines who Alabama is. Yes a LSU/Michigan game would be fun for the coaching situation this bowl season but not as a rivalry. I think a LSU/USC rivalry would be great and both schools could benefit from it it for recruiting. Same thing on the coach aspect goes for the Arkansas selection. Oklahoma or Oklahoma State would be a much better fit. Auburn and Michigan State would be a good choice two schools that have perceived instate "big brothers."
