(in response to your comment below about when was the last time the Aggies' cupcake opponents were relevant) Rice won its conference last year and is a favorite to win it again this year. SMU has gone bowling four of the last five years, demolishing Nevada, Pitt, and Fresno State in three of those games. It's not Sumlin's fault that SMU's coach bailed on his team. While I'm not saying any of these teams are great and I somewhat understand HBC's point about the stats being askew, when his team was one of the four that help inflate those numbers he shouldn't be the one to talk.
