Another QB announces his transfer from Alabama
If they would just give these guys 10 mins of playing time when the team is up 38-10 on the scoreboard, they might stick around and even be ready to step in and do the job if the starter goes down. Nothing motivates a player to be ready greater than knowing he is likely to play.
Well- Alabama is the only state I've ever lived in that the media talked football 24/7 365. Other areas switch to some other sport pretty soon after football season is over- not Alabama though.
How many football championships has the SEC won in the last 10 years ? The number escapes me for some reason...
ATM didn't have a QB for the bowl game after the No.1 and No. 2 starters transferred and were not available for the bowl game. ATM probably would have won with either of these guys.
I must have just fallen off the tomato truck, because I just assumed it was to talk with Kiffin about the 49er's offensive coordinator job. Just shows you shouldn't jump to conclusions I guess :)
Jake Gibbs was a good one as well.
I would argue that Arkansas' defining play would be our defining play. We don't have the opportunity to get to the playoff without it. Hunter Henry deserves the thanks of every Alabama fan.
State has peaked period. Don't blame Mullen. It is what it is. Starkville is not a place to win a national championship. That is not to say they can't rise up and beat a national champion on occasion though. The Big 12 would not want them in their conference :)
Time to rename the Bryant Museum or build Saban one of his own.
Never saw McCarron look sharper than he did last night. If the other AJ hadn't quit on his route ( or whatever the reason), that McCarron pass doesn't fall harmlessly into the end zone with Green having to dive for a sure touchdown. I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw from McCarron last night.
Ole Miss has to wake up and realize that winning the SEC West is more than just a one-game season. When you beat Bama, greater things are expected of you.
Glad Alec chose Alabama and certainly wish the young man great success wherever he decides to go.
