Humper Seriously, you're really going to try and excuse that beatdown in the SECCG away as a token from Kirby. So I guess all the coaches and players played along as well. That SECCG is actually killing you dogs, otherwise that Georgia team could have laid claim to one of the best seasons in college football, but Alabama took care of that and showed just how overrated Georgia really was.

Alabama exposed Georgia in the SECCG and proved beyond any doubt that my Dog defence was simply overrated and most of those drafted were also overrated and will not do well in the NFL. Had it not been for Alabama that Georgia team would have gone down as one of the best teams ever in college football, but it turned out to be just another average team, with a good defense and a game manager at QB. Whine, whine whine. You'll have to forgive because as usual I have Bama on the brain. I'm just mad as usual because I know my argument is actually pretty lame. All of our starters played and we did not have any of our primary skill players missing like Bama had. Big difference even though my dogs, with the exception of Brock Bowers, have no skill. Negan

KirkM what do you mean Bryce was on his back? In 2 games against our overrated dog defense he threw for obver 800 yards and they scored 52 points against us.

As you can see I like to ramble and hear myself talk, but here is how I really feel. More pressure on my pups than ever because for the first time Kirby is going to have to do what Saban has been doing almost every season and that is replace coaches, not to mention seeing our entire overrated defense gone, and having a game manager at QB coming back to lead the offense. Kirby has it backwards. Saban was successful with a game manager at QB initially and his teams played great defense but Saban saw the writing on the wall and started recruiting great QB's, spreading the field and going more up tempo and won a few more championships and will continue to win as long as he continues to coach. And he's not letting 5 star QB's sit on the bench. Sure, Kirby won a tainted title this year but Saban put Kirby in his place in the SECCG, even though Georgia was probably a little more talented, and for sure more experienced. The SECCG was a prime example of Kirby's backwards thinking when his defense was lit up by Bryce Young and Bama's offense and didn't have the QB and style ogoffense to play with an offense like Bama's. We could have played JT Daniels as most Georgia fans were screaming, but it would not have made any difference. Kirbys problem is he wants to control his defense to the detriment of his offense. Sure Georgia won a championship with defense primarily, but it is just no longer true that defense wins championships. Look at the last 3 national champions prior to Georgia (Alabama, LSU, and Clemson) all had explosive offenses and thats where things are trending in college football and have been for the last 5 or 6 years. Saban can win a championship, lose players to the NFL, have a complete coaching turnover with his coordinators and other coaches and still be back the next year and if not playing for another championship he's still in the running. Chizik didn't do so well the next season after Auburn won its natty and neither did Orgeron after LSU won it a few years ago. Both teams followed their Championship seasons with 5 o 6 loss seasons. If Kirby loses 5 he'll be gone, but delusional dog fans will go nuts if Kirby loses 2. The pressure is on!

Well, let me rephrase that. I meant to say the most overrated defense in a generation. Alabama exposed our overrated defense. I guess you really can't give up 34 points in the SECCG, in your own backyard and call yourself the #1 defense in a generation. Sorry about that. Negan

I'm a GA dog through and through but you're delusional. We're losing our entire defense to the NFL and going into the spring and entering the season with a game manager at QB. Stetson Bennett is not going to outduel most of the QB's and offenses in the SEC.

I know I talk and run my mouth a lot but I really should not say that Georgia's defense was historic. You really can't consider yourself historic when you give up 34 points in the SEC Championship game and are thoroughly dominated in every phase of the game. Had that defense played against Alabama like it did everyone else then that Georgia team would have gone down as one of the all time best teams in college football. Alabama spoiled that for us like they always do and since we lost in the Conference championship and were runner up we should have been eliminated right then and that is why this national championship, though I'll claim it, it is still somewhat tainted with a great big asterisk. Though we will always have that 2021 championship I'll still will never forget the beatdown that Alabama gave us in the SEC Championship game. Negan

They need this guy. Our defense was weak and what you saw early in the season was just our weak schedule, then Bama embarrassed us the SEC Championship and we still gave up almost 400 yards in the Natty. Bama was just more physical and this new strength coach needs to get in there and beef these kids up. Need to be fast and strong!

He's probably just as good a coach in basketball as Kirby is in football. Negan

Nah, no more so than drafting anyone off of our overrated defense that Bama exposed.

But I don't think Georgia will be #1 because they're just not that good. Just my honest assessment.

I have to admit Kirby is finally going to learn what his master Saban has to go through every year with all of the coaching turnover, not to mention the loss of pretty much his complete defense, he has Heisman hopeful coming back in Stetson Bennett. All my fellow Dawgs are excited about that. So will my Dawgs match the horrible season that LSU or Auburn had the year after winning a National Championship. We all know of the turnover of coaches and defense, so will Kirby have to go to his Daddy Saban and get advise on how to navigate those waters. I personally think Bama will win it all next year while Georgia finishes in the middle of the pack in the SEC East. Negan

Hey man, don't bash Alabama. Had we beat them in the SEC Championship the Dawgs would have gone down as one of the best teams in college football history, but Bama spoiled that for us in the SEC Championship. They exposed our defense and that was not a very good Alabama football team. I hate to say it but our Dawgs were overrated. Bama should not have had to play us again and they probably should have let someone else in the CFL instead of us. I'll take the Natty title but you have to admit it is somewhat tainted.

But my honest assessment is that he knows it's one and done and he'll never see another championship at Georgia. Doesn’t want to be on sinking ship and can you blame him. Georgia is losing all of their defense and Bennett is back at QB. They'll be lucky to be in the middle of the pack in the SEC in the upcoming season. Negan

Davis will never make it in the NFL, and will probably never a 5th round park. He may can run a decent 40 but he's slow off the ball and he's always out of shape. Alabama wore him out and the same thing will happen in the NFL.
