Nope. Grew up in Louisiana, moved to Texas for college. If a 5 Star (or 4 star or any other player in a position of need), even from Shreveport, goes out of state, he gets this kind of treatment at home. Sometimes even from his own family members. And ironically, the reason I get for the burning hatred toward A&M among my Louisiana friends is our "arrogance." Logs and specks...
If he had stayed sober and not been a cancer in the locker room.
Amen. They beat SC by the same margin they beat Rice, and took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter. Coulda been worse, HBC. Next year it will be.
Rice won Conference USA last year. Furman made it to the second round of the FCS playoffs. and South Alabama won six games. And SC gets to call Vandy a conference game. Color me not impressed. Keep talkin' Spurrier. Next year will be even worse.
Can't stand Auburn, but the word of Bret Bielema and Bill Snyder doesn't carry much weight with me. Bielema is a whiner about "player safety" because he's a troglodyte and Snyder compared losing the '98 Big XII championship game to his daughter getting cancer. Both may be decent coaches, but if they don't realize that everybody is stealing signs, they're not paying attention. Just like our other uniquely southern sport, in the SEC, if you ain't (kinda) cheatin', you ain't eatin'.
Maybe it's more about character and discipline for Malzahn than winning. That would be a refreshing change of attitude in college football, and one that would ultimately win more games, I think.
The t-sips got their feelings hurt and refused to schedule A&M as an out of conference game. They're not used to not getting their way.
Hey Steve: They refused to schedule us. May want to actually know something before you spout off. http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/34658/ut-am-rivalry-playing-the-blame-game
