U people are ignorant or just don't remember why ok st played a less than perfect game anyone hear about a plane crash the day before that game?? I do where members of the osu basketball team died, friends of the players on the field that night so yeah it was probably pretty difficult to give it all they had that night my opinion completely forgivable and understandable. And yes that year LSU would have been beaten beyond recognition from one end of the field to the other. Plus it was a marketing boom in the waiting nobody thought of LSU with Les Miles vs Oklahoma State with Mike Gundy, the coach who left saying he would never win a national championship at osu vs the coach who replaced him and took them to the championship (and could definitely have won)but I'm betting it would have ruined Good ole Les career sooner than he screwed it up himself lol what a champ huh I mean chump he was riding Saban's legacy to get there right or wrong? And if I remember correctly OSU beat Alabama the first year Saban took them to a bowl game.
