I am a Katrina survivor. My family lost everything in that storm, including family members. I am extremely tired of the over sensitive PC crap. Now tell me I don't have a right to say that. I was there. This was not offensive. It was a jab no different from 'crush them' or 'destroy them'. So spare me the BS about how Its demeaning. You know what I think is demeaning? The fact that people only think Katrina hit NO. When in fact, Katrina did not 'hit' NO at all. Katrina and it's storm surge hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast and destroyed it. Where there were flooded homes in the 9th ward, there were slabs on the Gulf Coast. NO flooded because of rising river levels from rain and levees breaking due to poor civil engineering. You know what's offensive to me? When emergency workers were trying to rescue citizens in NO from flooding, they were shot at. Homes and businesses were looted. People were attacked. Was the rain from Katrina, yes, but the flooding was from poor civil engineering. No, I am not offended by a sign telling one team to destroy another team. I am extremely offended at everyone being offended over every little thing. We have become a world of whiny children that throw a fit when something doesn't go their way.
