As an Auburn fan, I don't see what the big deal is. Are cowbells allowed in your stadium or not? You can't have your cake and eat it too. With that being said, I think the whole thing is stupid. I would say it is analagous to if Mississippi State fans rolled Toomer's Corner after a win in Auburn (even though that is pretty rare). Could Auburn fans really get bent out of shape? Would that not bea double standard? It is either illegal to roll the trees or it isn't. Selective punishment reeks of discrimination. But in the case of cowbell, Auburn fans should be allowed to have them if they are allowed in Davis Wade Stadium.
