Ummm, first off, relax people. Dear lord yall must be bored or something. Plus yall are leaving out the number one factor in retirement…Mrs Terry. It’s no joke, she runs the show. And one of yall said I think, there will be a plan. The man does nothing without a plan. The entire Bama portion of his life has made him rich beyond anything he could have expected. He won’t just up and leave. Personally I think Saban is one of those individuals that if he retires, he will get old, quick. He needs college football as much as college football needs him. And before any of yall get huffy about that, you know it’s true. Saban pushed college football like no other modern day coach, ever. The Saban effect will be felt for decades after he is gone. Whether you love him or hate him you know it’s true. It’s just by sheer luck and pure persistence that Mal Moore refused to stop trying to see Nick and meet with him. If not, it would be a different school, not Alabama that would be a powerhouse for the ages. As a die hard fan I will mourn the day he leaves. It’s coming, when who knows, so I will enjoy what time we have. Relax guys, enjoy the time we have.

Donk…you ok? You seem very manic and you might be hyperventilating. And Doug, some of my Bama friends are factory workers and some have PHD’s. But good to know that you feel some work is beneath you. Wow they’re Matt Hayes, I guess Saban is living in your head rent free. Been saving this article for awhile have you? Every year the same thing and every year Alabama doesn’t fall off a cliff and die. And as for Saban’s voting, I wouldn’t expect any coach in his position to do any differently. It’s called PR and Marketing, aka recruiting. And as for other SEC schools being in the top 5, show me one besides Georgia and Alabama that haven’t been one hit wonders in the last 10+ years. Prove yourself for more than 5 minutes then maybe you get a vote from Saban

I understand exactly how GM feels. He wasn't responding as a sports analyst, he was responding as a graduate of the Univ. of Alabama and he has that right. My mother graduated from UofA and she was brilliant. Latin masters and Greek PHD. Incredible Latin and English teacher. When you consider the school part of who you are and what was home for 4-5 years of your life, you are allowed to be upset. I don't understand why a football player who be throwing darts at other schools academics?

Mullen should not be allowed to walk away with a ton of money for doing a horrible job!!! That is insane. He should be made to stay and deal with the consequences. $12M to do a horrible job and to walk away, leaving a program in shambles. OH HELL NO! These buyouts have gotten out of control. The program suffers along with the players.

Saban has earned the respect from the College Football Community. Yes he is a perfectionist and yes he gets upset at stupid questions. But…there is a but…he is almost never wrong and he and Mrs terry have given back to a community that has given them so much. Deion is a joke. Respect has to be earned. And please, that man called himself Neon Deion for 20+ years. He needs to get a grip and stop acting like a baby. Because that’s all he is teaching his players as well.

No team should be ranked until a few games in. Hell I’m a Bama fan and even I see that it’s wrong. The pre-rankings destroys half the teams out there and keeps the top 5 or 6 from ever moving. No pre-rankings and 8 teams in the playoffs. Football will return to a some what fairer chance. And for my closer OSU has no right to be there, their entire program and school knows but they have always bent the rules for their players and program. Did we really expect that to change?

With Freeze at the helm, the NCAA will be knocking down the with violations in 3 years max. He is mortally corrupt and will put the program in the hole with no daylight to be seen. Just saying.

Slow your roll everyone, Yes Muschamp is a bad head coach, being a coach and running a multi-million dollar program is hard. Not everyone can do it. The Head Coach position is NOT what is use to be and never will be again. Does he need coaching rehab to be anle to continue, yes. Will he get it, who knows. BUT the blame should not be all out on his shoulders. Programs are aloud to hand out these huge contracts with backend payouts. These coaches, all of them should have year to year only for three years until they can prove themselves as well as the AD,s. $13+ million is insane. Coach O walked ass backwards into a NC and now he will fail again, because he doesnt know how to run a program. And the buyout in 4 years from today will be even crazier.

yeah, i didnt go to math school, but even i know thats not right. I live here in Florida and only 10% of my friends have been tested and thats because their work required it. And i know lots of people who tested positive. Soooo...yeah...math. But all the Southern States are doing very poorly. We need to stick together instead on picking on each other. Save it for the field, when we can get back out there SAFLEY.
