You nailed it legaltiger! Another year of strength and conditioning with a new Nutrition program, Another year with the Playbook, All of mumblers and grumblers are Gone...I don't think the doom & gloom bunch know how much a divided locker room hurts a team! In Reality, this is an Improved Team with a Mission and this should be a very gratifying season! The entire locker room is bought in and closer than ever, the improved energy & focus of the new coaching hires is obviously an Upgrade across the board, and the rest of the world (and waaaay too many AU fans) have us crashing and burning??? Is it kickoff time yet-:) This is Gonna be one of those years to remember!

The salicious Gossip, Fake News, and Ridiculous claims of abusing players most definitely made Harsin's chances of attaining a "name" OC with SEC ties pert near impossible,for sure... But no one seems to be mentioning the "Other Factor" - Timing!!! I'm right at certain we will never know the whole Austin Davis story, nor am I sure I want to know... But what we know for sure is that his timing couldn't have been much worse!! The annual coaching carousel had pretty much quit spinning by the time Davis had his epiphany! The Quality college level OCs had already chosen their new gigs and/or negotiated their raises and extensions by the time Davis bailed...The NFL guys were almost exactly the same except for the allstars who are busy interviewing for HC gigs!Davis SHOULD have been a major asset but it's just sad sad sad...BUT Harsin certainly could have done much worse than Kiesau!! He is a proven winner from the Steve Sarkasian/Chris Peterson influence tree. All involved give Kiesau high praise for his role in helping Bama switch from their long huddles, 3 yards and a cloud of dust style offense to the modern era of hurry up no huddle in 2015... Point being- IF Auburn fans can forget the blue field long enough to remember that Boise State beat Oklahoma's AND Georgia's brains out with Harsin as OC (when we/Auburn couldn't compete with either).. THEN he was OC at Texas during the Mack Brown era and helped their outdated offense develop modern era skills dramatically improving their Total Offense and Points Scored stats. Then, just like good ole high school gus and Hugh Freeze, Coach Harsin used a brief successful stint as HC at Arkansas State to land the HC job at his Alma Mater...4 of Harsin's first 5 Boise State teams were in the Final Top 25!!!POINT BEING - there is EVERY reason to believe Harsin knows what we need! He is "One of the Brightest, most energetic, new coaches in the modern era" (the description used and repeated often by the nominating committee for Best Asst Coach of the Year Awards) AND even though yeller wood and that ilk may not realize that all great coaches can't possibly come from the SEC... Any football fan with a moderate or better Football IQ should be able to do the math and realize that Bad 1st years are often required to rebuild any program suffering from years of neglect. End the nonsense NOW and Get Out of Coach Harsin's space and let the man do what he has Always done - Produce WINNERS on and off the field!!

Harsin DID talk to All of us! The ighnorant and arrogant just weren't listening when he said: We have run plays with 10 people on the field too many times this year" in his presser... Y'all would rather talk about Stupid, Irrelevant things like "Scapegoats" than hear the simple facts when they are laid out to you. Why in the world would Harsin need a scapegoat when he cares NONE what fans and "experts" think?? If this had been Saban - No One Blinks!

Am I the Only one who remembers Nix going into "the tent" after his shoulder was drilled into the ground at Penn State? Elbow strength is for Power and Shoulder strength is for Accuracy! OF COURSE, Nix will a tendency to throw high on longer throws! My biggest issue is with the Play Calling! There are almost always opportunities in the 5-6 yard pass range and thus far Auburn has Ignored them- despite Nix's obvious limitations. I am HOPING that in addition to being able to make sure we have 11 players on the field EVERY play that having Eric Keisau more involved in the passing game will help us take advantage of what defenses Give us rather than stubbornly (shades of Malzahn) running plays doomed to fail from the start- again and again!

It's stunningly amazing to me how many "experts" have No Clue what they are talking about! Williams was fired because he was responsible for having his players know when they are supposed to be ON THE FIELD! Auburn has run plays this year with only 10 players on the field nearly a dozen times (Including twice in the Final drive against Ga State). Typically, we saw a Wide Receiver running onto to the field seconds before the ball is snapped but a few times they didn't make it...The amount of confusion this has caused is beyond measurement and Absoluitely Unacceptable! I'm sure Williams was warned not to let this happen again and when it did (several more times) he Had to go - end of story. I've been an Auburn fan for more than 50 years and I can only remember a couple of times when I was More PROUD of an Auburn coach than I am of Bryan Harsin! His decisivness and commitment to excellence will have Auburn in the mix for championships sooner than later. However, schools don't fire a head coach ala Malzahn because things are great in their program. They fire them because things are steadily slipping...It's Insane to expect Harsin to turn the same players,essentially, that have become accustomed to mediocrity into world beaters in his first year or two. Take a deep breath, get a grip and Support Your Team. War Eagle!!
