Opinions are subjective. The scoreboard is objective and favors LSU. I have the stronger evidence thus the more logical stance. But both teams are going to need to pull a rabbit out of their helmets to run the table and/or bear Bama.
Auburn seems to be putting out some pretty long excuses on this site....

Hey,if beating LSU once every twenty years or so makes you feel cocky enjoy it... If I get upset I can always go check out LSUs 3 national title trophies... I would imagine the State fans at least have their cow bells to console them the other 19 years... Enjoy you once every two decade happiness....
LSU is not crying so much since proving its better than Auburn on the field... With such a young team, it will take a miracle for LSU to beat Bama... But as of right now, only two teams in the SEC West control their own destiny, and Auburn is just not one of them....

Auburn is weak... If we are predicting, Auburn has no chance to beat Bama... Besides after beating Auburn, LSU fans are far from butt hurt... 27 - 23 is a wonderful feeling especially for a team starting three freshmen on the Oline....
I think since the Auburn coach said it, they took it as an established fact and did not do their homework before repeating an obvious error....

A second "sports" writer on this site who does not know what the term "control your own destiny" means.. FYI, it means if Auburn would win the rest of its games, it does not matter what any other team does... Howver, the fact is that at this time, if Auburn runs the table and LSU runs the table, LSU will be in the title game... This is not a prediction, its a definition...

We still had that ricochet extra point but it was good and the field goals were as clutch as I have seen from an LSU kicker in a while...

Apparently you do not watch enough SEC football... I can remember a lot of teams facing the LSU team after it lost to UAB saying the same thing... Having said that, it is going to be a tough game for LSU win ..
Pretty sure the bond was first formed between the 3rd and 4th quarter of their game with LSU this weekend...
