It bothers me when these coaches and players say it was just emotional and in the moment. We all know that’s a lie. That’s a planned celebration and doing it was completely selfish. Why not just say the truth - “He made a dumb mistake and got penalized, it made the game harder for our team, and we’ll deal with it.”
