Word in the Rebel Rumor Mill is that the big money donors had had enough following the egg bowl mess and got them the money.

As an Ole Miss fan I feel you. We haven't had this many good seasons in a long time but after the Florida and Memphis losses people were already calling to fire Freeze.
I voted for the Shark in the official ballot but supported the Admiral elsewhere.
I'm glad he did this now not halfway into the season leaving us high and dry.
I think I'll just wait a little longer for the main events to start myself.

I graduated in 2011 and from what I hear Tuition and parking have gotten worse, from the addition of a laughable online decal system which crashed within its first hour of being open, and a "capital investments fee" being added to tuition.
Students should expect even less parking once construction begins.
