NCAA approves new fair catch rule that will drastically change kickoffs
You can’t fair catch a squib kick. Kickoff and return strategies may change but I don’t think the overall game will change much. Competitive coaches, which is almost all of them, will definitely frown on their players calling for a fair catch.
